I took 320 grit to two of my clamps, to knock the mirror finish off. Then, for my Obi-Wan, I took a lighter to it. I'm gonna try some other weathering techniques some of you guys have used, that look great. Once I get it to how I like, I'll put the real transistors on it & call it done.... for the moment.



For my Luke v2, I've just hit it with the 320 grit... so far. I don't actually know how much "aging" SHOULD be done on that though. But OOHH how great it looks all put together (minus the D-ring. That'll be the "finishing" touch, after I get it a little beat up & painted).

Recived mine today and it's fantastic. However, it's slightly too small to fit overy my US Archon v3.1. So I need to make some modifications. Does anybody know the thread size of the lever screw? I need a longer one as this one is too short.

Came home from a trip to San Fran and found a nice surprise, my clamp came in! Looks great! Now I just have to wait to get a new lever from Roy and my V2 will be officially done.

Yes, that's quite the odd size. Had to go to a specialty tool shop to find those. Found one, cut it to length, screwed it in inside of the bracket so you can't see the head. I'm going to clip the screw off of the lever and glue the lever into the square hole on the bracket. Should look seamless. Won't function but I don't need it too

I FINALLY got onboard and got one of these(should have gotten two) for my Starkiller V2. Can't wait to get it.

I ordered off the site and I got it yesterday!! I've already got it on my V2! (Needs a bit more weathering but it's on the whole saber now).

I admit, it was a little daunting to start weathering that beautiful clamp, but it needed to match the rest of it, and it was it's sole purpose in life lol. Such a great job replicating it Roman! Thanks again!
