G.L.a.D.O.S Mini Helmet build.

So I've dug myself into another cosplay hole where I decided to make something that seemed easy at the time but turned out to be waaay more of a pain then I thought.

Ive seen a lot of ways to go about G.L.a.D.O.S, some easier some made in ways I have no way to get ahold of so as it is Im happy with how it turned out.

This about....three hours into my build, I found a foot ball helmet grate on sale and decided to use it as my base, a little modge podge over it and patch.

It doesnt look like much but I eneded up putting about....6 or so coats of patch on by the end.

This is after I sanded the puppy down and added the middle grove for my eye peice.

I added some details with eva foam on top and believe it or not part of my take out box for the backing of it

Decided to get the groves in by using so foam I had laying around from my Big Sister build.

Then I added in details with craft foam. It was very colorful.

Also as a note the main eyepeice is a 360 mirror I got from the Dollar tree and painted and hot glued on.

Now to base painting!

Then a bit more detailed/ grimy

And then the (mostly) finished product!

I have a set of gauntlets, arm peices, body suit and dress to go with this (which if anyone is interested I can post em) but thats my new cosplay baby for now!

Paper test of the gauntlets

The full paper set I used as a pattern for the foam ones

And the rest of the progress on the finger peices was filmed because I was going slightly crazy in the end and this is the finisjed foam set

Now the dress!

This is the front after I gave it the old tea/coffee treatment (this dress was a living nightmare to put together simply because some of the peices didnt match up with each other they way they should have) and the back that turned out amazing.

There was even a unintentional heart that popped up on the front.

And in finishing my arm peices (they are both the same)
