Futuristic Armour for Horse and Rider.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, to cut a rather increasingly long story short, I have been handed or shoved in my direction an idea for what is best described as either Futuristic or Stormtrooper Armour for Horse and Rider.The idea started life in a pub conversation and just appeals to my sense of adventure. So far I have tried to talk to many different organisations and individuals with varying responses from total silence to 'Ok, sounds cool' but that is as far as it has ever got. So at the moment I could do with a little help, actually I could do with a lot of help as I am running out of people to ask. The thing is I'm an Equestrian and not an artist, so I can not put my visual ideas down on paper.
Oh yes before I get reminded again, I know there are no bloody Horses in Star Wars. Apart from that any help you could give would be most appreciated.

either try to draw what you roughly want or look up pics of what you think you'd consider. Otherwise you are going to have a rough time getting people to spend their time making something that you might shoot down.

There are already alot of stormtrooper variations out there, Samurai, grrltrooper, etc..

Thanks JPH for replying. What I was hoping for was to talk to an artist/designer or if we both in the same country, possibly meet up and discuss ideas, as my sketches could be taken either way and could be seen confusing rather than helpful. I'm more or less going of what I've been advised to do and the last thing I want to do is tread on anyone's toes ore upset anyone.
Thanks again for taking the time to reply and giving this some thought. I'll trying make my scribbles look better if I can but can't promise anything.
