Full scale Angel Puppet?

Has anybody made a full sized Angel Puppet? The ones that commercially available are 1/2 scale at 21" tall. But i've been trying to find someone who can make a full scale one.

I'll save everyone the trouble and give you a summary of everyone's responses, as this topic comes up every couple of months.

No, because to make one would too expensive. The proper material is outrageously expensive per sq/ft. Plus to take in consideration the time to design the patterns and do the work, the maker would have almost no profit margin to make it affordable even for those few with large sums of cash. And then you get in to the whole stepping on the toes of the existing license-holder and whatnot.

And eventually, someone would tell you to pick up a couple of books on puppet making and join the puppet makers forum and learn how to do it yourself.

See, wasn't this easy :D :lol :lol :lol

Awesome, thanks. saves me the headache of wanting one too badly. Guess the 1/2 scale will have to do.

I got the Angel replica when it just came out. Now I checked eBay and there's multiple versions of it.

I do remember doing a search in google and hitting a site that made nice replicas (even a Spike puppet), but I can't rememebr the price.

Yeah, me too. I didn't mean to sound like I was raining on you parade, but everytime this topic comes up, it's the same thing - pages of everyone going on and on about how great it would be and then the 1 or 2 puppet makers on the board giving us all a dose of reality.

You have no idea how badly I've wanted one of these. I was probably one of the first to post right after the episode aired the first time.

OK, I'll be the one to ask. What was the original material, and how much did it cost?
