Done / Completed Full 1/48 TIE Bomber 3D Printed Kit (and magnet/armature kits)

Looking to see if there is any level of interest for a 1/48 scale TIE Bomber 'kit'. I have built a few of these (the files are from Nerd Maker Engineer and yes, I am authorized to sell prints...) and they are a quick and easy build.

These would be printed in Siraya Tech Blu (one of my favorite resins of all time), printed on a Saturn 3 Ultra/Jupiter and come with a few extra part.

Cleaned up some of this thread now that the kit is ready, see full details below.

Depends on the cost of the kit but I'm interested. I was actually thinking of printing one myself but if you are going to make a kit that makes it easier

For sure! I will add up all the costs to do a run of like 5 of them and see where it lands.

Wondering if people are more interested in a single body which was how I built this one, or having it spit in half (files come in both versions).

The full body was kind of nice but also made the wiring more difficult and forced me to glue the armature in place (not that you have to).

Was thinking of doing a printed center that would accept the metal rods for the wings and then a center part to take the rod for the stand, basically an armature.

Also, are most interested in lighting it?

Also, thinking of somewhere in the neighborhood of $195.00 - 225.00 for the full kit (plus shipping to where ever you are).

Doing a test print now of one where the body is in two parts so I can test what the center armature might look like. The more I think about it, to more I think it might be the way to go... it's how I did my first one a while back.

I have one of these fully printed and ready to go. This version will include all you see here (all model parts, stand, pre installed threaded armature, rear LEDs, magnets and printed magnet cups).

Price is $225.00 and what ever it costs to ship to your address.

This one has LED's for the rear, but really just meant to be glued in as part of the kit. If you want to light them will just need to run some wires, but they will not be able to be run through the stand but you can tunnel them through the armature for each half.

This kit does lend itself really well to just putting batteries in it.

Also, here is the stand and armature I made, 12 mm tube (will need to cut to length), heat pressed 1/4-20 camera mount insert. It does give you some ability to pose it a bit if you want.

Also, as with all 3D prints, expect some very light sanding and filling for fitment and support marks.

Also, just realized I only show 2 LEDs, there will be 4...
