Fringe

OK! Here it is!

The fonts that you will need to be able to edit your information on the PSD file are these:

OCRBEF-Regular - The font for the information and the side of the card.

Just replace the picture, the signature and all the information and you're set! I would ask if you not change the barcode, it's kind of my signature.

Anyways, without further adieu, here it is! It's formatted in 300DPI at the approximate size of an ID card.

Enjoy!

Hey Robert,

great job, but you look quite young if you are born in 1683......LOL

Dietrich

Hahaha better discretion.

Very nice work on this! I love the alt U from Fringe!

I believe the little gold "hologram" as you put it is actually metal. Ive seen this on credit cards and bank cards before.

Any ideas about doing it in gold leaf or something? Or gold ink decal or something.

Thanks for posting the new show me card.:)

As for the gold part. I used to work in the Meijer photo lab (for those that don't know what Meijer is, it's like wal*mart) And we had what was called a Dye-Sublimation-Printer. It printed beautiful photo quality images, and it had gold leaf feature. It could actually print in gold leaf on the picture. (or something that looked just like gold leaf anyways. ) I don't know if any place still has them, as that was a decade ago, but I would have to think that they are out there somewhere. One of these ideas printed out of one of those, and then laminated could be pretty cool. (Or, you could print them on one of these and then glue them together with other layers of either plastic, or cardbord. )

The gold bit is a chip (for chip and pin), it's very similar to the chip on a mobile phone sim card. If you're careful you can remove one from a free sim card and stick it to your ID. Hope this helps

That's a great idea! I think I'll put tape on the gold part of the sim, then sand off the plastic from behind and glue the gold part to the card!

The chip is embedded into the card. All of the Dutch bank cards have a chip. You can put money on it, unlike paying for something with the magnetic strip.

Somewhat related to paper props - did anybody else see the Fringe Division ID lanyards a few episodes ago?

The episode, "Immortality", offered us the first good look at them that I can recall. It was difficult to make out what was on the lanyards before this episode.

I'll get on it right away!

Excellent sign artwork, Dietrich!

The text should read "compromised", rather than "comprised" though. ;)

Does anyone have any of the phone numbers from the show? The only one I have is Massive Dynamic and I would love either Peter or Olivia's for a project I'm working on

Oh, and as it is prop Money I don't think this should be an issue, but would anyone want me to whip up some accurate MLK 20 dollar bills? Also if you want to print up bills, the best paper to use is Tyvek. You can find Tyvek envelopes at most office stores. It doesn't feel like real money, however it is untearable, waterproof, fiberous (like real money), and looks better than normal printer paper
