Friends of spideyfox please read important!!!

Although I didn't know spideyfox, or unfortunately have any knowledge of suits, I am so sorry for your loss. I am a father of two boys and I am touched by your idea! I think it's lovely. Although I can't contribute in a meaningful way, shoot me a pm with your paypal info and I'll send you a little something to help buy any parts you may need.

I'm am so sorry for your loss. Word cannot express how truly terrible I feel. Ben was a great kid, here on the boards. Very driven and curious, which is exactly the attitude we all cherish here. His energy and passion will be missed.

I am a little less than an hour away from you, so if I have some time when I'm not working, I would gladly give some of my time and expertise to aid in putting this project together.

To all of Spideyfox's friends:

Spideyfox's real name is Ben Fox. On June 26, 2014, in West Deptford NJ he was hit and killed while riding his bike to run cross country with his team mates. He was 14 years old. As you may or maynot know he left behind a sister and a 6 yr old brother. He loved this forum and always spoke about it. He learned so much from all of you. He learned how to create suits to sell and was actually able to complete one! He was doing this in order to earn money to finish a suit he created for his little brother (he was very close to him).
I would like to try to finish this suit for my boys both in Ben's honor and for Cole who he left behind. I am not artistic and I know very little of how to do what Ben learned here. I do know he finished the design for the suit and was measuring Cole the day before he passed. I know he was looking into lenses for the mask and web shooters too. I was hoping that some of you might be able to point me in the right direction. Also, if you have any designs that maybe Ben sent to you I would love to see them. My email is dreamfor2day@gmail.com Thank you.
Nicole

I'm so sorry :'( He was a cool dude!

RIP Ben. He was much too young to go. So very sorry for your loss. No parent should ever have to see their child go first, what a terrible tragedy.

This is incredibly sad my deepest sympathies with you and your family, far too young bless him. I have no skills with suits I wish I did right now, but I know others on this great community will help massively.

Paul

This hit like a low blow. My deepest condolences. We exchanged emails for one of his suits and got along because we're both from Jersey.

I am so sorry... I read that and my heart just exploded.. my heart and prayers go out to you and your family. He will indeed be missed.. I don't even know what else to say except I'd love to do anything I can to help :'(

First I want to take a moment to thank you all for your kind words. Everyone on this site has been so kind. It truly warms my heart to know that Ben was surrounded by such nice people. From the time Ben was small he loved spiderman. I think on some level he related to him. His father and I divorced when he was very young, his father became almost nonexistent. So he became very close to his pop-pop. He later lost his pop-pop (his uncle Ben) and took it very hard. Ben spent his life trying to do what was right. He stood up for the little guy and fought/stood for what was right even when it was hard. Ben loved his family with all he had. Over the years he shared his love of spiderman with his little brother Cole. As you know from my first post he created a suit for Cole he was unable to finish. When I first reached out to all of you there was a great response for that I am grateful. Thank you tjack for sending/donating the exact lenses Ben had wanted for his suit.
One person who is my family's hero and whom I can not thank enough is Dannylopuz. He took Ben's design, printed, sewed, and painted the entire suit all without accepting a single cent. He dealt kindly with all of my emails and made sure Cole would have the suit by Halloween. He sent it in time so that I was able to add the lenses that Tjack had donated for the suit. Danny will never know how thankful I truly am. Ben spent hours working on this suit. He would sit on his bed with his brother and pick colors styles etc. this was a bonding thing that my boys did almost every night. So for Cole to at least has the suit from his brother is a priceless thing. Cole loves this suit! So again thank you Danny for your kindness, your time, your patience, and most of all for honoring my son!
