Freddy Krueger Prototypes and movies gloves - DISPLAY DONE

I've always found the fred krueger gloves prototypes (in the Freddy's dead scene when his daughter found his secret room) interresting and creative so I decided to reproduce em. Not a big deal for any gloves buildiers but im still at the beginning in metalurgy so i found thoses should be a nice starting project.

I started with the spikes glove. I bent steel ring then brazed spike on them, weathering on glove and here we go

This is the second prototype glove, i bent each finger ring manually with copper to get a perfect fit to each fingers. I brazed the blade on the junction of the ring so the junction is invisible. Copper plate with rivet.

This is the third gloves with the razor blade, The 4 prototype wasnt really welded or brazed i think they was hot glued or epoxy glued, but i decided to built them the way it should to be ''effective''

Cool idea! I get bored when you see someone make all the gloves from the different Nightmare films. The variations are pretty minimal for the most part, but seeeing these gloves next to a regular Freddy glove really adds to the story and would make for a great display.

The Freddy's gloves could be classed by group, the Part 1-2 are similar, 3 and 4 are unique and 5-6 are based on the same frame but the blades are difference, but for an Accuracy maniac, they are all WAY differents

Those will be an addition to my collection, but i must admit that wearing the Razor Glove is a bit disturbing , you cant really feel much as an psychopath But they are very fun to built!

There is the last one of the 4 prototypes gloves. Fingertip copper with claws made of rolled copper pieces with the Copper wire. The glove that I bought did not have the leather tab, I made ​​and sewn it then added a balck cord and the red ball. I pierced the palm of the hand, theres no reference on this but with the copper plate I thought it had to be pierced. The result is funny

Thanks for the kinds words! Like any props in any movie it as several version of each gloves in each films, Hero gloves, stunt, particular scene glove (i have in my mind the needle gloves in the part 3, the Spoon glove etc...)

For the prototypes they arnt been used in any film, only displayed in a scene in the Freddy's Dead Movie, i found them original enuf to give em a built!

I can build one for you if you want I discovered the Clothespins gloves when i adjusted the image to get a better contrast of the details

I never noticed the clothes pin one either. Be neat to see the needle and spoon glove as well. I haven't watched the films in a long time.
