I decided to built some stands for all my Freddy Krueger Gloves, it will be a total of 8 when ill get the last gloves needed to complete my collection. So i want 1 stand for each, i want a Freddy Looking stands so i decided to use the same material as the glove to built my stands.

So theres the materials i got so far, i bought 2 X 12''X18'' Steel sheet that i cutted in 5'' X 5'' Scare, a Copper pipe and some Wood dowel and wood for the hands i will build.

First Step i smashed the plate a bit to made it inequal, then i welded a Copper pipe, the hand dowel will be inserted the copper pipe. Natural weathering, exactly like i wanted!

The next step will be to weld a steel plate for identify each gloves, then ill add more weather effect, rust and blood!

This is the result with the welded plate, i dunno if im gonna paint the part number with a selfmade stencil with overflow red or put a sticker, ill see. Before building the other ill add the extra weathering on those

Theres my 8 Stands bases, added blood splash, still seeking what im gonna do for identifying the gloves, ill add rubber pad for not scratchin furniture. At this point i have enought material for doin 4 more, ill do them and figure what im gonna do with them.

After that ill start the woods hands, that should be a long process :p

Stay Tune!

Awesome dude!! Great idea.
I am working on a shadowbox that I will be using to display a glove here shortly.

As for the signs, could you get the metal acid etched first with the title of the film, photo of Freddy and the glove description? Then do the aging after it is already etched ?

Thanks for the comments :)

im not thinking working with acid, ill prolly identify the glove with a stencil with an overflow red paint, or vinyl sticker, im not fixed yet

So, i completed my first prototype and im very satisfied of the result.

I built a wood hand with dowel. I didnt want 4 straight finger so each finger as is specific angle for a better looking. I made the thumb removable for an easier glove installation. Lot of work!

I really like that idea, I may have to borrow it. I'm beginning to realize I never put enough work into the stands for displaying my props.

i should have 4 ready to ship in a couple hour, ill post them in the junkyard section, if i have more demand i could planing on building way more
