  • The mask and left hand were created by James Updegraph and are made out of silicone.
  • The hat is made by Corey (aka Jack Capers)
  • The knifeglove is DCE origin
  • The sweater is a Hot Topic sweater that I weathered, cut up, frayed and burnt
  • The pants and boots are K-Mart bought work clothes that I pretty much treated simillar to the sweater (using acryllics, fabric cloth, fake blood and sand paper...with a tinge of lighter fluid and some fire...lol)
  • I have two sets of contacts; one red (movie accurate) and one set that's white (not movie accurate; but very cool-looking, and these are what I am wearing in these pics)
Hope you like it!!! It's taken me quite some time to get this stuff together, and it's been one of my life long goals to have an accurate Freddy build. Now that I have one, I couldn't be happier! :)

Excellent! Very high quality and looks great!
I used to own a Part 3 Jack Capers fedora so I can relate to the quality and accuracy.
Can you share how much the mask cost?

Thanks so much! Jack Capers does do incredible work. Way better than I ever could!

The mask was around $400, and the left hand was around $200. Definitely the single most accurate Fred mask I have come across to date.

Have you seen the video? The movement on this mask is insane! I've owned a few silicone masks in my day, but this one (by far) takes the crown in terms of it's expresiveness.

Classic movie character that will never be forgotten. Freddy, Jason, Michael Meyers, and pin head are the 80's version of the classic dracula, Frankenstein, wolf man, and mummy monsters universal made classic back in the day

Very true Mart! Couldn't agree more! :) More shots soon!

Just did a bunch more weathering-work to the sweater, pants, boots and hat.

Fantastic set you have! I have a James mask from a couple of years ago, and can attest to their quality.

Would love that on a mannequin, pity missus would kill me.. That mask is simply awesome and the whole costume would make my main man Bobby Englund proud..

Thanks so much guys! I appreciate all the kind comments! I took a bunch of pics today of the fedora and boots (which I weathered up a whole lot more). Will post those tomorrow! :)

In addition, I might make a video of Freddy riding a motorcycle :p Seeing as it's almost cold enough to put my bike in storage, I thought it'd be a cool last ride! :) Stay tuned!

Incredible! Big freddy fan here. You pull it off very well. I bet robert englund would've appreciated something like this back in the day instead of sitting on the make up chair for 8 hours. Darkrider's masks sure are incredible.

Haha! My thoughts exactly! I used to own a "making of" vhs of Nightmare 4 when I was like 12 years old, and it seemed so time consuming. I remember him saying he couldn't take it off so he would wear it to the restaurant and cause a stir. Ah, the memories...

Thanks so much for the kind words everyone! :)

I've been having a lot of fun this Halloween! You can see from the following pics that all of the clothing has a much more intense weathering to them (especially the fedora). I still need to take my RPF Halloween 2012 picture :p.

Here are a few shots from a Halloween party on Saturday:

Here's a really crappy quality video of me scaring the neighborhood kids. Sorry for the crap quality, but this was before I purchased my HD camera:

More coming soon!

Hey guys! Sorry about not posting pics of the weathered hat and boots sooner, had a little bit of a medical emergency.

I used a bunch of break dust, black fabric paint and sandpaper to weather up the fedora, shoes and sweater even more than they already were :) Here are the results:

I have a Torched 2 as well....love how yours looks. Great thing about Torched 2 masks are no two look alike.
