For those with full face masks and bio

How well does a full face mask stand up to the abuse of removing/adding a bio? I have a full face and I want to have a bio that I carry with me and put on and off when I want. I am worried about the masks paint job holding up to this. Anyone have any feedback on this? Does it just come down to a few coats of permawet to protect the paint?

Thanks!

try lining the inside of the bio with some soft material. If you are using magnets, just be sure put on and remove carefully. You may loose a few quills, otherwise the paint loss is minimal or none from my experience.

One of our masks we like to have the bio on and off frequently, and to minimize wear on the sides for the cheek/jaw we lined the inside of the bio with a thin layer of foam from a foam cushion. You only need to apply that to areas that touch or come close to touching the mask.

Also, if you've got any perma-wet left (or whatever your topcoat was) throw a little extra on those aformentioned areas of the mask that might rub against the bio, for some added protection.

I decided to leave my quills off because I am wearing a bio with a full face. Seems to work ok. No wear as of yet.

There's plenty of room between the surface of my Pre'ds face and the inside of the helmet, so there's really nothing touching.
But of course, I have to use a strong magnet to actually keep the helmet on my mask. :)

hi there, im after a mask for under my bios, ive been thinking of which to get and ive decided i want the wolf mask when someone makes one. however, i was wondering if the jaws on masks open and close or are fixed open/closed? the reason being i dont think an open jawed mask will fit under a bio, or am i wrong?????
so if anyone is making a wolf mask make it closed jaw!

My mask was sculpted/molded with an open jaw, but I was able to close it somewhat using wire. My helmet, which was made by a completely different individual, fits over it just fine. In face, there's a wee bit of room between the surface of my mask, and the interior of my helmet.

As for weather or not a WOLF mask and helmet are out there, yes. But I don't remember who made it. I think it was someone on eBay. But I am sure someone here will probably be making both soon enough.
