I think it's the flash. I'll try and take some pictures in the future without it. I finished the other forearm piece last night and it came out really good as well. I'm going to try and shoot for a goal of finishing a section (arm, chest, leg, etc) a week now.

Here's the pictures from last night. I might take the little square off the back and slim it down. It sticks out pretty far.

Been real busy w/ a new project at work and family life, so haven't had much time to work on the armor, but I managed to sneak in a little time today and get the elbow joint out.

I'm thinking about putting some "how-tos" pertaining to the way I am specifically geared around how I am putting these pieces together, with DF's permission. Would anybody be interested?

The goal this weekend is to finish the right arm and build a duct tape mannequin. Time willing, I'll try and get the shoulders out.

Real life caught up to with a vengeance and I have had no time to work on my suit. Oddly enough, the only time I've had to work on the armor is while I am on the clock (jealous? )

The project is not dead by any means, and I did finish my arm, but the bicep did not come out correct and I had to go back and redo the elbow joint as well. Fortunately, Bigturcc came through with his bolts and pods in the Junkyard, so that's one last thing I'll have to work on, and I finally finished a properly sized hand from Zabana's pep files. I've got vacation time coming up soon, so I'll have a little over a week to devote to the Mark III and hope to make some significant progress then.

My first builds were terrrible. Luckily, I wasn't on the RPF then. : )

I get better with every suit, and I still have a lot to improve, and I have completed 8 foam suits in the last three years.

It is all just practice and developing your own instinctive feel.

I hope to be as good as squid in 15 years lol.

Ohhh .. beautiful!!! :thumbsup And these are still available! Ran out of 305, now I'm casting them all in ONYX. Really nice resin to work with too!
