by the way, I will most likely be ultimately creating a fiberglass/resin version... This is because, as a few people have mentioned, The first thing people look at is the helmet. If it's a little bo-bo, the rest of the suit starts looking a little more so as well. There seems to be certain effects that are tough to pull off in foam.
So, can someone please tell me... is it possible to create a helmet using resin and filler (bondo?) only, or is fiberglass always necessary? I'm not super familiar with these media, so I'm trying to gather info before the attempt. I seem to recall someone (was it projectearth7?) that made a helmet using resin and a filler (on top of card stock pep build) only... It would be nice to build with something more rigid than foam, but not as complicated or messy as fiberglass. Thoughts??
