Foam Armor / Costumes beginner

Just picked up some hobby foam sheets from Michaels looking to get my feet wet with building some foam armor / costumes. Cant decide what to do so can someone recommend some starter projects that would be somewhat easy while teaching the basic techniques?

There are other fairly easy helmets in there as well. Worth reading through some of the first page to get an idea on using foam as well.

Sweet, printing out the files now. Also grabbed the Cyberman files as well, if the Captain Helmet turns out well I think I'll try it as well.

Quick question. What about strengthening the foam? The foam is still pretty flimsy for representing a harder material. Is there a way to view only posts by the original poster (filter out all the comment stuff)?
