first unread post

Bit strange this one when i click on a thread from the index it's supposed to go to the first unread post isn't it but i quite frequently find that it just goes to some random point in the thread like 2 or 3 pages from the last page even though i've already previously read those posts.

That's a strange one indeed. Although I've never had this problem on the RPF I get it all the time on propcircle and Frothers. I'm wondering if it might be something to do with whats in the cache. But then again I'm no expert.
