So I've been doing freehand Iron Man armors for the last couple years, and I've never really completed one because they've been made out of cardboard my dad gets from his job and it's really a hassle to cut, and no matter how happy I am with the build, I ALWAYS find it displeasing towards the end: I realize the pieces don't hold up to movement, the paint isn't right, it looks NOTHING like the movie suit! So I was watching all of Stealth's youtube tutorials (which are BRILLIANT, btw) and browsing the forums here looking at people's builds, and I've decided that a foam/pep hybrid suit is the way to go (The only pep piece being the helmet in this case...maybe hands as well...) My next paycheck will be for materials, but I have one crucial problem: Scaling. I am not the most math savvy guy, and there are so many methods that I just can not wrap my head around, so if any one could suggest something simple, I would GREATLY appreciate it. I am 6 foot even, waist 32, shoe size 11-12 (US mens), and weigh approximately 175 lbs. Maybe the default scale is already large enough? My chief concern is keeping as much mobility as possible for movie-making purposes. My friends and I make goofy movies and I want to do an Iron Man spoof, and come on, these suits are kind of awesome
So any help, again, would be awesome! Thanks in advance!
