First Look: Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man Costume

Any descriptions on the Lizards appearance? We were all pissed about Venom going from a huge bulky monstrosity to a wimpy little shrimp with teeth in the third film.... so I hope they dont screw it up too much. Oh and PM me if you dont wish to spoil anyone else, but does the Lizard die? Or does just the "lizard" part die and Connors lives? Or what?

Also, how does the "proto goblin" play into all this?

I really don't want to say anymore - I could get in trouble and besides the movie should be enjoyed as it plays - i'm sure there will be leaks before it's released but I would say avoid them - the script has some great surprises in it.

Holy poo!

The Lizard is all a figment of Spidey's imagination. American Psycho style.

Sorry for the spoilers.

What are they doing with this Spider-Man reboot? New web shooter maybe?? Uhhhhh....ok....this isn't weird....

Gotcha Jet.

As for the subject at hand... I'm ok with the costume by now, though I may have to get used to those weird looking eyes... but I STILL cant get over those damn blue stripes on the hands and fingers! They stick out like an infected hangnail. >_< But hopefulyl a GOOD movie will make up for it.

you know, this IS spiderman. The costume is no different than the Superman returns suit, IMO. It's red and blue, with a spider on the chest and back, white eyes, and "webbing" or the like, pattern on the suit, with red hands and feet. Same jump as the ROTS Vader-ANH-ESB-ROTJ. Although easch suit/helmet had its differences, it was still obviously Vader throughout.

The basics are all there. Probably modified more than needed to separate this as a reboot, but it's NOT the radical departure that some seem to be making it out to be. It REALLY could have been bad - I'm glad they stuck to to the traditional Spidey look, for the most part.

The fact that the outer back spider legs are so close to that cut out section is such a horrible design flaw. It looks awful enough on it's own...at least give it a little breathing room from the edges of the red.

This one's for the ladies. Look at that tight blue ass.

Agreed! This thing really is hideous.

What's with the weird silver on the boots? And agreed with what everyone else is saying... the costume is horrid and just looks worse each time they release a new picture of it.

Is it possible to flip the pages of a comic really fast?

That way, you will all be happy about the costume in a Spider-Man flick.
