The helmet is a direct cast from the PP2 Fett helmet (from Rogue Studios) which is the actual helmet used in all the action figure packaging back in '78.
For those who don't know, this style casting is the most accurate in all fandom.
I'm slowly putting together a full size ESB Fett display.
It's going to be awhile before I get to painting this helmet, so in the meantime, I wanted to finish the interior as much as possible.
It's not an exact match (as I realize that is unrealistic) but it's definitely by far the most accurate attempt at an accurate screen used or production made Fett helmet to date.
I'm sure as time goes on, I'll continue to tweak it.
Here are some pics of the real deal screen used ESB hero.
And here is my replica so far. Still looking for the correct helmet liner (which happens to be the same as the type 2 ROTJ trooper helmets.
INTERIOR
CORRECT CHIN CUP
.125" DARK GREEN VISOR
PUSHBUTTON TO ACTIVATE RANGEFINDER LIGHTS
EXTERIOR SHOTS
RANGEFINDER LIGHTS ACTIVATED
.
