The story goes Operation Omega was released in 1984, while the Firefly appeared in November 1982. No one knows if any collaboration took place. In 2008, my resin Firefly kit made an appearance in the May issue of Model Graphix. In the article, Kow Yokoyama actually recommended the Operation Omega kit to anyone unable to get the resin kit at Wonderfest (Hasegawa had reissued Omega one year earlier)!
