Firefly visual companion Volume 2.

well, the sheaths are a pain in the rear to make, so i can see that. either you have a really expensive machine to stitch it, or spend a long time doing it by hand.

mine's not all that accurate and it took me a good couple of hours to make.

Yowzers...$50 for a simple leather sheath?

On another note, I'd like to find a replica of the Mule's license plate they show at the top of page 29. That would look great on my Jeep.

I bought that sheath for my Jayne knife.
There is a picture of it in my Firefly weapons thread.
It was something I wanted and have ZERO skills to make,
so I am happy with it.
Shoot, any more, 50 bucks is hardly more than a tank of gas for my Jeep Cherokee!

I wouldn't doubt it's a found item. I find it hard to believe that they would put alot of effort into making a custom prop that noone would really see.

However, I scoured ebay for about an hour last night, and found nada.

AK for Vera? HM. Anyone got pics? Cause, I looked, and looked, and I couldn't find any thing ever close, but then I wasn't looking at AKs.

I would hate to spend $50. on the sheath for jayne's knife. So, I'll keep looking for the found one they actually used. (In hopes that it's cheeper. :) ) But, if I can't find it, I guess, in a pinch, I would pay that if I had to. :( I've tried my hand at leather before, when EVERYONE told me how easy it would be for me to make my own Jedi belt. The die didn't take correctly, and it's really blotchy. Now I just have wasted time, money, and leather, and no belt. :(

Now that some of you have the this book, what is your take on the Han in carbonite?

Well, it wasn't really an AK. It was a shotgun based on the AK design called the Saiga 12.
