VERY nice.. I've had an unnatural urge to buy a CX4 for quite some time, and I guess I just never paid close enough attention to that episode to realize they'd been used in BSG. All the more reason to grab one.
Slightly off topic - It's a little hard to tell from the picture, but guesstimating by the gaping hole in the end of the barrel, is yours chambered in .45ACP?

I wouldn't think you'd have a legal problem with the flash hider -- where are you located?
edit.. oh wait -- just saw the cropped barrel. Would you need to SBR it?
(Now all you need to do is stencil on an inventory number somewhere. )
I have been looking at this air rifle thinking it would make a decent base to build one of these. Wouldn't as much of a legal issue to cut the barrel down either.
I was about to ask what the flash suppressor was - I see in your post on ASAP that it was custom made?
Can I ask what the legal problem is? Does someone own the rights to that pattern?
PS -- for those wanting a cheaper in, there is a stock made for Hi-Point carbines now that mimics the lines of the Storm) It's not ideal, but it might save you some time on a custom sculpt:
AWw crap. I forgot about 922r.
Hey... where's BSG filmed anyhow? I don't see an exception for film makers - just gov't and "for testing and experimentation" http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/us...22----000-.html
Maybe they got around it by making them blank-only?
Still, you can't be the only one who wants to hang a gizmo on the end of the barrel. Surely someone will start making US compliance parts for it eventually?
