Finally, my Holy Grail

Hey Gang,

Here is my Indiana Jones/ Last Crusade Holy Grail and grail diary

I sculpted it myself out of scuply and a short piece of pvc (for the stem). The inside bowl is painted with that krylon gold leaf pen. The outside is true gold leaf.

The diary is a blank leather bound diary I purchased on-line and I'm in the process of filling it in by hand. It'll be a long drawn-out process, but the price is right

I'd say that if you add a little more paint on the outside (too much gold coming through), you're about there. Very nice. And, a great start on the diary, too.

I'm going to be giving it an acrylic wash to dirty it up a bit, but not much more than that.
