FILM: Alien Vs Predator 2

i hear Danny Glover comes back in AVP 2 and kills everyone..haha j/k I really hope it evolves into a better movie than the last one..AVP wasnt too bad..But alot more could have been done..
 
This might be a dumb question but, here goes. At a movie premiere will a theater pay for someone like ourselves with a Movie related suit to make an appearance. Have any of you done that?

My self and some friends were ask to appear at the opening of Episode 3 and they let us in ahead of the crowd and gave us free popcorn and soda.

And I was asked to appear at a showing of P1 in LA but I had sold my first Pred suit and wasn't finished with my new one so I didn't go to that one.
 
Free popcorn.....Im there! Did you guys call local theaters and see if they were interested in the appearance or what?
 
I'm sure almost ANY theater would love to have a few Preds in the lobby to promote it. You could probably get away with a few free movie passes for your troubles.

I went to the theater about a week before AVP, I brought photo of my suit and the manager was more than happy to have me walk around the theater. i didn't do it for $$ and didn't ask for any.
he gave me and my family 2 month passes to the theater.

it was a blast.....not the movie.....the suiting up and having fun with the patrons...

imagine sitting in a theater watching AVP and having a predator sit right next to you... B)

i dont think i would want to sit in the theater with my suit on id keel over from the heat plus its a bitch to sit in the darn thing. but i wouldnt mind showing up for the premire wearing it for awhile to hopefully get some free passes then come back later to see the show. or the other way around catch a early show then suit up for the evening veiwing and run around the lobby.
 
ive already made plans to appear at our local theatre,and at the auckland city premiere in full costume,with a friend who'll wear the samurai suit.
the theatre owners are stoked to be having a predator or 2 at the screenings.
im hoping to troop most nights it shows for the first week at least.
i did the premiere troop for star wars episode 3 in full sandtrooper kit,with about 35 members of the 501st here in auckland,and that was a total blast,
so yeah,...........i'll be representing the lair with pride ,from all the way down here in new zealand............
 
The AVP 2 Premier is my suit goal as well. I`ll be finished in about 3 more months I reckon. Plenty of time left. :0)
 
Ok everyone, and I mean everyone with a suit, how long can you guys go in your suit. Just curious what im getting into at a theater. I have worn latex suits before but, not as elaborate as the Predator.
