Fifth Element - Fhloston Paradise Flight Ticket

the screen used prop had little springs that made the "Winner" banner pop up. I have examined it first hand :) I will see if I can dig up some reference. It'll take me about a week, as I'm away from my main PC right now, but I will see what I can do.

I find it real interesting that it is two separate cards. Considering like all of us reading this thread, I've seen it so many times by now. I just wanted to say I hope you get the progect finished and I hope you post it for sale in the junkyard soon. I would love to have one!

Garthok, I was also very surprised to see this picture.

MattMunson, many thanks! :)

treker2557, I hadn't planned to make the popup, I hope to finish it.

Bevels are not the same everywhere.
I know you can reach perfection :)

This look much closer to you guys? ;)
(I've adjusted the shadow on the E a bit from this preview in the PSD :lol)

I'm surprised to see that it's actually two different popups in the movie. :p

Looks great.. Maybe it is BRAVO on the other side?? Or Maybe the section is a circle which can spin to either show BRAVO or WINNER??

Perhaps the paper changing from winner to bravo is intentional (e-paper) in the movie? Alternately, in all the bravo scenes the ticket is tilted more upside down than rightside up. Similar to a display (such as the iPhone) that can detect which way it's tilting and change the screen dynamically.

Anything on this Matt ?

Did you also get a chance to take a few pics of the screen-used ticket itself ?

I found all of my reference photos. I am amazed at how accurate your version is, sir. Really nice work. I need to check with my source to make sure it's OK to pass along the pics. They will give you some tiny details that you missed, and also some very minor alignment problems. But seriously, you will be stunned at how well you've captured it.

Did you ONLY use screen caps as reference?

alancastillo1, my replica is based on a real picture of the screen used ticket.

Aha, well that answers my question ;)

As we can see from the screen caps, there was obviously more than one ticket used in that scene. so there's a chance the details that are in the one I examined are simply different than the one used in that scene.

Thanks Matt !

Without trying this I finally falls on this:
