Next to Battlestar Galactica, I thought Tales of the Gold Monkey was the best thing to ever happen to television.
One of these days I'll buy the DVD set and see how cheesy it really was.

I watched a lot of shows but these are the ones I watched absolutely religiously.

Quark
Space: 1999
The Gong Show (I had a crush on Jaye P. Morgan)
Almost Anything Goes (short-lived whacky gameshow in the 70’s I can only compare to the Japanese gameshow, Takeshi-Jo from the 90’s)
WKRP in Cincinnati (I had a crush on Jan Smithers and Loni Anderson) - too bad they had to replace all the copyrighted music when it went to DVD.
Mork and Mindy (I had a crush on Pam Dawber ... and Morgan Fairchild)
Bosom Buddies (early Tom Hanks)
The Greatest American Hero
Tenspeed and Brownshoe (a short-lived TV series that had a young Jeff Goldblum)
Police Squad!
Wiseguy
Crime Story
Tracey Ullman Show
Newhart (I had a crush on Julia Duffy)
Siskel and Ebert - At the Movies
Amazing Stories (the Spielberg show)
That's Incredible
Entertainment Tonight (I had a crush on Mary Hart - legs!)
In Search of ... (with Leonard Nimoy)
Cosmos (technically a miniseries but still ...)

I remember waking up early on Saturday to go watch the Lone Ranger and Superman with my dad. I had no clue they were reruns or did I understand why they were in black and white. Looking back that is one of my most cherished memories growing up.

Forgot to mention Crime Story , Wiseguy and Sliders .
Logan’s Run and Buck Rogers was must see too, and not just for the ... ahh... memorable stories LOL !

Kids in the Hall
Black Adder
Fawlty Towers
Are You Being Served
X-Files
Perfect Strangers
Night Court

There are many more, but these were probably the standouts.

I'm glad I'm not the only kid that watched too much TV.

When I was a kid I thought Tales of the Gold Monkey was just like indiana jones so I loved watching it. Haven't seen it since then so yea kinda curious at how bad it would be now.

Is that the one with Steven Collins? I liked it back in the day but I think it was cancelled after or during the first season.

I forgot how much I used to love watching I Love Lucy. I watched a lot of that show weekdays in the summer before going to the beach for the day. Lucielle Ball was incredible. Animaniacs, Batman: The Animated Series. The Simpsons. Seinfeld.

Not going to name them all, but off the top of my head. I loved Home Improvement, Funniest Home Videos, Ninja Turtles.
