Farscape grenade

I recently purchased a Farscape grenade. Unfortunately the seller does not know who made it. Would the maker please contact me?

I assume you mean the "perfume bottle" grenade? There have been various casts of them floating around teh interwebz for years now.

yeah, i doubt anyone made one from scratch, probably all cast form the perfume bottle. I used to have one but sold it ages ago.

Well, the reason I was wanting to know is that I wanted to cast at least one more for myself. And since I've never cast or messed with resin before I'm sure I would have a few test pulls that I would want to get rid of. I just didn't want to be labled a recaster.

As the prop is just a straight cast of the Donna Karen "Unleaded" bottle with no modifications to it I see little difference between making a cast of the original bottle or a resin copy. If you're really conscious about it there's about a dozen of them on Ebay right now but they're not exactally cheap.

the really tragic part about this is the fact that there'll be millions of those bottles just getting thrown away when they are empty.

I know. I just want an empty bottle but I have no idea where to even find an empty bottle of perfume. :unsure

Is this perfume still sold in stores ? maybe try asking at a few stores if they have any old testors ?

It's been discontinued for a few years now, which I guess is the reason for the high 'bay prices.

Can someone place post some pics of this grenade? All I can find are pics of replicas, on site that are known for inaccuracy. (like "new moon props")

Are we talking about the bottle, or a casting? I have one casting, but it's a really, really, REALLY bad one (from sci-fi models, or some place like that), and I wouldn't mind picking up another. If anyone around here was plaing on offering any, that is.
