and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is 199999. So what universe is Fox's FF4, and Rise of the Silver Surfer? and what universe is this new one?

616 Fury also had a Black son who is the current Nick Fury so that the comics could be consistent with the movies (because audiences would be confused otherwise). If Marvel was still going to be publishing F4 comics after this new film comes out you know they'd make Johnny Black just to keep those hoards of new readers the movie brings in from being confused.

Why would Marvel try and help Fox when they are wanting the rights back - having confusion which impacts on the movie would be beneficial to their push to regain the rights

Marvel probably least helps FOX by going their current course of not publishing any F4 materials rather than if they confused the seven new readers the movie brings in by keeping Johnny white.

Could be real set pic, but the Josh Trank Twitter account which posted that pic is apparently a fake account (Still no confirmation, I could be wrong). That account handle was legit during early 2014, but now it's taken over by someone else and all old tweets are gone. Only tweets are from the last 24 hrs.

Sure seems to be a legit Twitter account. Whether it is or not remains to be seen...

It's as if they're deliberately trying to derail the entire cinematic superhero movement with this film.

I agree marvel should be doing all they can to get the rights back, even pay fox to get them back. This should be called Fantastic Fail.

If FF flops badly and loses money maybe Fox will willingly sell the rights back or dump it, like they did with Daredevil. I'm hoping Fox execs might just decide it's better to focus on X-Men.

Call me crazy but I'm pretty sure that Dr Doom suit Is just a pre-CGI suit for an action scene. I think It'll look ALOT different. Just a thought.
