Fallout T-51b helmet

This is wicked nice. I've been a fan of the Fallout franchise since Fallout 1 10+ years ago. Great work on the helmet!
Just so ya know though, the standard BoS helmet in Fallout 3 is a different kind of armor than the original T51b armor. The T51b armor actually IS in Fallout 3 but is a little hard to find. Are you referencing the actual rounded T51b armor in Fallout 3 vs the old armor or were you creating a combined helmet from the squared-like standard armor of Fallout 3's normal BoS gear with the old school armor?

Wow, thanks for the comments everyone. I'm continuing the T-51b as a Soaring Hammer Team Project and we've made a new master of the chest from a one-off mold that is cleaned and ready for remolding. Look forward to some updates soon!
Thanks a lot. I have played all the good Fallouts (1+2+ okay 3 I confess) and love 'em too man. The model used as the base for the helmet is actually the T-51b from Fallout 3 (the real one from Ft Constantine). Then the build was modified to include more of the old details from Fallout 1+2 T-51b such as the brow vents and the more detailed respirator intakes. I have a pretty good comparison shot around here somewhere...the comparison shot was made before the helmet was finished though (Respirator intakes don't have outer ring and no lens in lamp.)

I'm extremely envious of the tubing you used, the helmet as a whole is making my head implode! On a related note, where'dja get the tubing!? The closest thing I've ever seen is on the russian 'SMS Snorkel' gas mask.

Update with the completed helm and chest from awhile back.

I've pretty much bought all my suppliers stock for the kit run I'm doing. It's basically the no-cloth version of that hose. Here's an identical ebay listing for the russian hoses though...Gas Mask Hoses
Thanks, I just got the mold done for it. Got some Raw Cast Pics up. Remember this is the beat-to-hell 2277 version not the "new" 2077 version. Might do one of those down the road though. Will get a run going and a thread in the junkyard when I get back home in a couple weeks.
