Fallout T-51b helmet

Hey guys,

I really liked the game Fallout 3 (though it was a different kind of game than 1 and 2) and decided to build a T-51b power armor helmet that's a cross between the old and the new version. I've been working on this during the last month or so. I figured since it's getting pretty close to finished, I'd really like to get some more opinions on it (improvements and crits). It still needs a new visor and a lens on the headlamp.

Thanks Conny, and yeah started on the rest of the armor today. Still will be a little while before I get some more semi-finished pieces to show though.

A strip cut out of a green tinted Oxy-Acetylene face shield would probably look pretty good as a visor.

Wow, thanks for all the positive responses everyone! I'll be sure to post up more armor pieces of the T-51b as I get them done.



Forcebewitya- Yep, started on the legs already. Some of the overlapping and clipped parts in the game model are confusing :wacko

Loess- Thanks for the tip, I was going to use a cut-up smoke moto visor but those are WAY cheaper and more flexible. I picked one up on ebay for $2

Dogwizard- Sorry about the showerhead. I was hoping you didn't notice until you turned it on one morning and had a giant jet of water slam into you. Wait, is that how you knew?:lol

I would give you MEGAS but she's my baby, #72 out of 1500 on the only production run.:love

Before you can wear that, you need to get power armor training. Talk to Paladin Gunney in the Citadel.

Nice work.
I am also a fan of the Fallout series, and have been since the first game. It's cool to see a prop from the games. I think it may be the first I have come across. Now we just need Enclave power armour.
