Fallout Sodas

Just in time for Fallout 4 I took some photos of my Fallout Sodas.

Every bottle has custom printed bottle caps and labels. I'm happiest with the Sunset Sarsaparillas, It's hard to tell in the photos, but the Nutrition Facts and ingredients actually match the soda that's inside the bottle. The bottling location is based on where the game location is, I've included the Silly 'Ol Advisory, and the UPC reads "Blue Star" if typed out on a T9 keypad.

Eventually I'll write up how I made them.

The Mexican Coke bottles are not hard to come by and pop up on auction sites from time to time.
They are widely available here in south Florida and run about $1.40, retail. I actually have an empty one
I'm holding onto - and I actually made a Nuka Cola Quantum bottle and it came out rather well.

Those looks great.

I need to check my local Rudys BBQ, they have lots of Mexican soda.

Thanks for the kind words!
Would you be up for making some to sell?
I would buy one!
I've been looking into it. Because I'm new here, I'm not sure whether or not I'm able to do so here, but It's definitely something I'm considering. Would you be more interested in aged or new caps/labels?
You could just sell the caps and lable?
I've considered selling kits instead of fully made sodas, because I'm not sure on the legality of shipping the drinks.

My local Walmart sells them, but I noticed my costco sells flats of them for significantly cheaper. Also your quantum looks amazing! When I get around to actually displaying these I plan on building in some lights under mine.
The bottles in the new game FallOut4 are now like Rocket Ships
I noticed. I'm looking into different casting methods to make some replicas, but that will probably take some time.

do you recap them your self or just get coke and put the nuka cola label

I recapped them myself. I bought a bottle-capper usually used for home brewing alcohol and ordered the caps from a website marketed towards home brewers.

Interesting. So if you offer labels and caps (acquiring bottles won't be a problem) do we need a special device to clamp on the caps?

You use a bottle capper to seal the caps on. You can get one on Amazon for about 15 bucks.

Hard for anybody to offer caps, too. Hard to beat 14 cents a cap, that's what Bottle Mark charges for printed bottlecaps. There's a thread floating around here all about it, you should check it out: http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=254385

Bottle Mark is great, that's where I had my labels and caps printed. The shipping is a bit high, so you have to make sure your order is big enough to justify that expense, which is why I have a good chunk of caps.

If I were to sell kits I would have two options, un-crimped and pre-crimped. The uncrimped would come as I recieved them from Bottle Mark, The precrimped ones would be crimped onto a bottle and then carefully and evenly removed to the point that you could slip it on another bottle and use a pair of pliers to re-crimp onto a bottle.

Anyone with graphics skills and time could order these from Bottle Mark to make as-sold Nuka Colas, the main selling point of a kit would be the reduced cost of not having a minimum order and the upfront shipping costs from bottlemark being divided up between multiple orders.
I've been meaning to go over these bottles and start adding washes to age a few of them, when I get around to it I'll post pictures.
