Creating a thread for this costume to try to force me to keep documentation of my build. I tried making it with pepakura at first, but I really screwed up the mask area and decided to freehand it with cardboard in the end. It turned out ok, for the most part. Duster is ordered and should be here Thursday.

Also, Harbor Freight is having a big sale on EVA Foam mats like, mid August. $7.99 a pack, can't beat that. But, I already bought 5 packs @ $9.99 cause I wanted them now. Even though I'll only use one or two pieces for my NCR Armor, it is always good to have. Plus, I am building a Skyrim outfit for the GF.

I would also be interested if anyone had any ideas on how to connect the mask to the helmet. I thought about keeping them two separate pieces, or resin them as one and cut them apart (so they don't warp if I resin them individually). Then maybe use magnets or Velcro to hold them together when complete.

My duster came in...



For the people curious about where I got the duster... I got it off eBay for $40. It wasn't an ebay store, but more like a person selling random jackets. It is authentic from Australian Trading Company and it feels awesome. So awesome that I can't bring myself to putting holes and tears in it. So, I'll prob end up dirtying it to a point where I can still clean it.
