Fallout 4 combat armour

Fall

New Member
Hey,
I am trying to build a set of fallout 4 combat armor for this September. I have looked and the only peps i can find are for power armor witch i wont be able to complete for comic-con. I know there is a way to pull the 3d models from the game, put them into blender then trun that into a pep but im not sure how, any help?

Extract game files using "B.A.E."
View/export 3D models from the game using NifSkope

However, don't expect a magical formula of extract, convert, unfold, print, make and then wear.
The in-game 3D models are VERY simple. Even the Pip-Boy which is one of the model detailed models in the game was only a few thousand polygons. Fallout relies heavily on inserting 3D detail using the in-game textures and tessellation. Lots of additional modeling will be required, either before you convert it to paper, or as add ons to the paper.

Also, welcome to the forums. You will get more replies if you spell check before posting. Most people skip threads if they don't think the person is really serious about completing the project.

Thanks for the help, this is my first build so I doubt there will be to much detail and I can always personalize it a bit.

I have managed to extract all the combat armour files into nifs but i cant then open them with nifskope, with always says "failed to load ..." are there any substitutes for nifskope or is there a way i can fix this?

Yeah, as mentioned just above your last post, you want to use Noesis. I never got nifskope to open the new models. Noesis does the job just fine, though.
