G'day folks...I am interested in building a kit ect. Have many folk here made 'em? What's the usual colour scheme? I am talking any Alien, Aliens ect ect.

Love to see pics and get some painting tips. I just purchased an airbrush and am a complete noob

If I recall correctly it was originally planned to be painted, but when they saw the human flesh-like rubber they opted on not painting the prop at all, as they thought it looked good and it had never been seen before to have a regular flesh-colored alien being.

So other than that... I really have no clue about coloring, but am interested in what's shared here.

The 'Alien' facehugger was unpainted Latex, the 'Aliens' facehuggers were painted foam latex.

I think a pale fleshy color would work fine for the body, tail and fingers... am not sure if the fingernails are silver... but there are some good views of the innards of the beast in both Alien and Aliens... surely someone would be able a snag a few caps and post here, for color reference and discussion.

Btw, not to high-jack too much: but has anyone ever built the running face-hugger from Aliens, as seen on this page: Face Hugger "pull-toy"?
