Facehugger Chamber

I made this facehugger chamber based on the ones as seen in Aliens. It's about 24 inches (60 cm.) high. It's filled with water and has an aquarium air pump and led lighting at the bottom built in to add some special effect to it all. The facehugger is a rubber smaller scale one from Hasbro. Hope you guys like it! :)

The under lighting really gives it a cool feeling. Now if you could get it to twitch every once in a while, you could REALLY creep visitors out!

This is great!!! Can i ask where you got the tube/tank? I know that is always the challenge, and i really would like to build one. Thanks!

Awesome! Yes, very inspiring. I would also appreciate if you could tell us a little more on how you built this. Thx!

The gray parts are generaly used in sewerage and I used an 8 inch acrylic tube as the tank itself. It's really not that hard to make. The only problem was that normal glue can't be used when connecting the gray plastics to the acrylic tube so I used silicone sealant to make it water proof. I used aluminium spray paint to color it and black and dark brown to give it a rusty weathered look. The extra parts are just nothing more than junkyard stuff, such as a thermometer and some iron tubes they use in central heating systems.
