Fabrics (That look or can be made to look like) ice or glass

I am making a special costume to look like ice and glass. I am using chandelier prisms for the headdress and accessories. However, can anyone send me links to fabrics that can create an accurate feeling of ice or glass. I will be making either a dress or a multiple of layers of robes like a Lord of the Rings costume almost. Please let me know and I would be most appreciate and grateful.​

I'm not a fabric person, but I'm not sure how possible this will be. You'll have to deal with smoothness, opacity and colour. Look around for white "satin" or silk style fabrics I guess.

I would say Cellophane.. Mostly used for Fairy wings and the like..

One word: Layering. High sheen, medium to high opacity fabrics under matte white low opacity fabrics.

For example light blue PVC under white tulle.
