Extra thick New Dark Knight Cowl and Neck

Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to the RPF so I hope I successfully downloaded my cowl pic to this post. I got a great DK cowl on ebay for cheap only because the rubber came out a little thick inside the nose and top of crown; otherwise the best mask/cowl I've owned in years! Is there anyone out there who has had to shave or trim the inside of the mask due to thickness and can you tell me what tool was used? I tried an exacto knife but was to awkward and the rubber too thick.

Its 40 urethane rubber. As soon as I carefully put the exacto knife in the excess rubber I knew I wasn't getting anywhere. Can you find a rotary tool almost anywhere aside from the homedepot or lowes? I appreciate the info!

Harbor Freight is like the dollar store of tools, they'll have one less expensive than Lowes or Home Depot. But you get what you pay for...

A big super hero thanks to those of you who helped with tips on shaving down the thickness of my dark knight cowl!!! I just got done performing plastic surgery on this thing and man it fits without crushing my skull!!!Just got to take care of the filled nose now which I think was worse than the thick cranium.

Almost done cutting the extra rubber out the nose with an exacto knife.A little nerve racking but this mask is becoming the great cowl it was meant to be. So who here likes this new set up with the site? A bit confusing but it looks nice.

Thanks I didnt know that but I'm glad I do now. Its the best mask I've ever owned either way despite the extra cutting!

Has anyone else here had to cut out extra rubber from there mask to make it fit? I'm almost done and will post pic then. Just a little more "off the top" and no more headaches!

Just a quick shout-out to coofunkcurly, Finhead, Yodajammies, Abby Darkstar, and peruski on great expert advise on helping me trim out my extra thick cast dark knight cowl (which is no longer extra thick!)!
