Exclusive: Golden Gun

Because of work I wasn't able to order mine until just before 1pm west coast time, and was number 278.
Also ordered the tarot cards. I couldn't resist.

I got the SE, order #334! If that is a direct correlation to the edition number then it's a good thing I didn't wait until later. Really looking forward to this.

Got my order for the signature edition in on Friday. Number 209. I'm not much into Bond stuff, but the signatures and low edition will make this a very collectible piece.

The signatures sealed the deal for me, Moore and Lee are legends! Getting one signature would be great, but two is absolutely brilliant. It also goes without saying, the actual prop is a thing of beauty! :thumbsup

I got #138. Just 1 shy of 1138. :)

I wouldn't mind one bit if it arrived disassembled. I know I'm going to assemble and disassemble this lovely lady more than once, so might as well practice out of the box. Hopefully she's durable enough to not wear out in the first week.

I wonder if the pen actually works. :lol

That's what I'm wondering as well. It would be nice if the pen and lighter were functional. I do love the scene when Scaramanga says "that's no problem" before he shoots that guy. But of course asking for interior gun pieces to work (if possible) would be too much...

Man ya'll are killing me! I'd give my left nut to own this signature piece if I hadn't already given it for my Dooku SE.

Sell the Dooku saber. It's not plated with gold, it can't be disassembled, and it wasn't in the best gawd dang video game ever made!

If any of you are tempted I wouldn't sit on it.....words out there's only about 40 left since this afternoon. You snooze..you lose.

Well, I couldn't stand it. I just ordered the limited edition version. The signature edition is nice but I couldn't justify spending that much more on a couple of autographs.

Really looking forward to this piece.

Bought the SE gun on friday. Was wondering why it hasn't sold out yet? I thought it was going to sell out in a hour. Thanks

In terms of shape it looks like they have done very well. Perhaps the finish will not be quite as sumptuous as the jeweler-made original(s). Hopefully the parts fit together solidly but that isn't easy to do on a project like this.

It's clearly the best replica to date of one of the greatest props in cinema. I'd have been all over it a few years ago. :love

I have to say I know zero about it but it does look purdy to me

So whats the experts view on Factory's replica Golden Gun?

Cheers

Jez

I wonder how the darn trigger cufflink works. Looks like it presses the red button on the cigarette case. I doubt the cufflink will move like a trigger.

You can see in the pictures where it is hinged, that is probably where the spring action is.

At the other end it looks as though it probably works the same way the SD replicas did, with the extra long threaded post going in to hold the end of the case against the lighter extension.
