I already got this pic,but the Quality of yours is much better.
its hard to get good pics ,but i need them for sculpting.
I think the falcon is like the "holy grail" for the most prop collectors,
therefor i dont want to make "another" copy,i want to make the best one!

It looks like that the original color of the resin falcon was golden?
Am i right, or Do you know what color was original?
Are there more sources available for more detailed pics?
I need only 20 minutes alone with the original and the silicone mold is ready....
And what version do you think will be better?
a copy that looks like the resin one today, or how it might have looked when they take the screenshots?

Hi all!
I have alot of questions,but i think here is the only place to get some help....
I want to sculpt a maltese falcon, but where can i get the exact measurements (from one of the screen used not from a replica)...
Can anybody help me?

the one in the movie is lead not gold
and it nearly broke bogies foot if i recall.

I'm surprised this hasn't come up in this thread yet. I'm not a big Maltese Falcon fan but I am a huge Mythbusters fan.
Doubt that this has any useful exact measurements but it's sorta on topic and very interesting. it's a very entertaining video of Adam Savage discussing his obsessions and even mentions the RPF.
