Evil Dead - The Musical

I suppose there is little chance of a west coast tour????

Dang. I would pay real pesos to see this for sure.

I saw this on some morning show, a few weeks ago..they did one musical number, as a plug for the production..anyway, the guy that plays ash had "the right look"..I wonder if someone on the RPF made the guys costume and saw, as they looked to be well made.

At 1st I thought it would blow chunks, but, as strange as it was..I would love to see the whole thing..It was watchable :thumbsup

*Sigh* I'll never see it in Denver... never see anything in Denver. I need to move. Just call me Eva Gabor- wanna be in New York, but stuck in Hooterville.

Shouldn't this be in "Off Topic" though?

Seems silly I know. But this musical is actually getting rave reviews. It's one of the biggest things on Broadway right now. Funny huh?

I saw that, too. It was really good. I wasn't sure that they could make something like Evil Dead into a musical, but it was working. It was like Rocky Horror, kinda.

I wondered that as well. As one of the few who makes Ash chainsaws, I did not have anything to do with it. I'm wondering who did, though.

I actually saw this show while it was still a small production back in 2003 when it was in Toronto.

Frigging brilliant. The duet entitled "What the F$%# was That.?" is the single greatest live performance I will ever see. And that includes 10 years from now when The Beatles Undead themselves and go on tour with a Time Travelling Elvis. From the future.

The first 3 rows were SplatterZoneSeating. Seriously. The stage was maybe 20'x25', and they must have used 40 gallons of blood throughout that one night. I have a shirt, but i think it's at my parents house with some other old clothes....

*gloaty moment* I saw a broadway production before it hit broadway. snooty self importance.
