ESB Stormtrooper "variant" holster

I haven't seen much discussion on this topic aside from someone pointing it out in another thread which I can't find, so I'm hoping I could get this moving along.

From this photo, it looks like there was another design for the Stormtrooper holster in ESB.

Whether it's just a rarely seen variant or a one-off, I'd like to try and replicate it for my upcoming suit.
I threw this together by modifying Troopermaster's excellent holster diagram to show you what I see. It's tough to see the top where it attaches to the belt, but I took a guess here (it's probably wrong).

Come on, I know one of you trooper exp...masters and enthusiasts has some more info or at least a better photo. Thanks in advance, I hope we can get this one figured out.

Its the same holster as always with the straps pushed together, case closed.

You know, I just looked at it again after I posted that and thought of that as another possibility. It really doesn't make a lot of sense to make another version of the holster, especially one that only has one strap at the top.

You're quite possibly right, I just didn't see much of a bulge as a result of them being pushed together, you'd think it would stick out quite a bit. Then again I'm going off a very small photo.

how much it would stick out would depend on how thin the leather was.

the few pics i've seen have led me to believe that the holsters were pretty flimsy. if it was really thin, it wouldn't bulge much.
