Your costumes are always great, but this is exceptional. I guess I just appreciate the dark take on a favorite character. I always love seeing people dressed up as Red Sonja, but everyone takes the Frank Thorne pin up route (not that I'm mad at a pin up), and here you've taken the realistic, gritty angle on the character and, in my opinion, really raised the bar and created an interpretation that all others should strive for. Sometimes you see a cosplay and it just is the embodiment, and this is one of those moments. It looks like you walked straight out of the pages of a Joe Abercrombie novel.

Adding a big, big sword? I say yes.

On topic: I have to agree with others about the more realistic take on a classic character. Too often you see the classic pin-up look (which as a guy, I am not ashamed to admit that I like), so this version, which seems to elegantly combine the pinup style and the gritty style, is a welcome change.

I know of a web forum that would suffice, but Error would probably want to go incognito (i.e. - probably not identify herself as female, and DEFINITELY not post any pics), as the place is over 95% guys between the ages of 14 and 30, all of whom are sci-fi nuts. It'd be like throwing chum into shark-infested waters.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, most of them are so jaded that they'd never believe that she actually looks the way she does...

LOL! I agree... With the ages between 14-30... that's like building a campfire in a fireworks factory! See what chaos Error creates w/o even doing anything? ;)

i am laughing so hard right now ..what is going on in here! and thanks everyone !!! It was a lot of hard work *(as it should be) .. i actually have a lot of people asking me if i have made secret costumes to go to nycc in and i was like wat? no lol .... BUT to make all those questions fair i noticed a ton of guys and girls who are REALLY REALLY DAMN TALENTED ... instead of making one awesome costume they will make three to ten in a short period of time ... like a matter of days.... and change multiple times a day throughout the convention or each day wear something different ... i am serious when i tell you i saw a guy at wizard world one year go from ... nightcrawler .....to two face..... to the terminator ALL IN ONE DAY! but the falling apart version of each character ... like a little kid who trick or treated his little heart out and had two black garbage bags FILLED with neighborhood candy... but i digress, that is why i like it here.... i can not look at the boards here and think "cosplayers" ... i just see a bunch of great artists and costume builders that pour their heart into these projects and do things that i am still trying to wrap my head around realistically ..so all the complements on this build are highly appreciated ... also for those of you telling me i need a huge sword i will most likely be making a massive battle axe when i have the time ... this thursday i will be leaving for florida :C so i can not make one in time for nycc ... i will have to drag a deer carcass i find on the side of the road or something ha
