Equilibrium prozium gun question

I would be happy with any kind of casting you did of it, but I was thinking today, that if it were cast in clear resin. all you would have to do, is mask off those top reassessed spaceses (that are clear on the hero.) and paint the rest black, and add the logo. Just a though.

Then again, I here clear resin is a pain to work with.

Not to harp on about semantics but there is "making a prop" and "making a prop". Look at the Farnsworth communicator from Warehouse 13. These are mostly made from found parts and have no "functionality" except a lid that opens. They cost US$3500-$4000 each to "make". QMx sold a number (100 I think) of "hand-made" (not "mass-produced") licensed copies for US$299 each. A couple of these sold on ebay for around US$600 each.

Also not all "really good looking" props are "surprisingly" expensive to make.

Remember a lot of the cost of a prop is the time prop guys spend working on it rather than where the parts come from.



Don't get me wrong, I'd really like to see how all of your hard work has panned out with this prop though.

to be more specific... Equilibrium DVD Commentary: Wimmer & Foster: Chapter 7 "You see the injector prop a lot in this movie, and this one prop really worked most of the time, not all of the time. We used it a lot. They're very expensive to make, actually, really good looking props are surprisingly expensive and..."

wow, rude much? I never flake on anything mister. Yes I actually finished it and sold off a run of 10.
