Endor blaster rifle stock "pouch"

Does anyone know whether the sides of the "pouch" on the stock of the Endor blaster rifle are vertical or do they taper and get wider on the bottom of the pouch? I've seen some that taper so the bottom is wider than the top, but others seem to be perfectly vertical like the scope shroud. Were there versions that had both or is one version correct?

Yeah I have several and they all look different! :lol I don't know if some versions were perfectly vertical and others wider at the bottom or if I'm seeing things.

Are you referring to the part on the tube coming out the back end of the actual receiver body?
All reference I have shows it with straight sides and rounded top and bottom.

Yeah the thing that hangs on the stock. I'm thinking that if it's made out of the same thing the scope shroud was, they should be the same shape, with straight sides.
