Endo skull w/ T2 blu ray special edition any good?

Just picked mine up today, over all its a good piece for the price, its as tall as my sideshow endoskull, but its so shiney, I think I might have to weather it. Teh head looks small when its attached to the base, I might take it off and make a stand like the icons version, but yeea, if ya cant afford a sideshow its a good piece, i'll post pics in a bit.

Cool looking forward to the pics none of the stores around here have any in stock. Can you do a side by side with your sideshow bust ?

Yea, I got mine yesterday from Amazon.com. I have to agree, for the price it's worth it to me too. I can't afford the better replicas.

The good: No seam in the skull.

The bad: Seams in the vertibrae and the sounds overpower the speaker.

On the eyes, they are too opaque to me. I'd rather a brighter more transparent red that has a tight waffle pattern behind it.

Here ya go, my sideshow is on the left. Only real things that kinda bother me are the nose, bad detail, the dome is kinda small, not to noticable and the head gears, but they can be taken care of with some rub n' buff

On its own, I think it looks fine.

Next to a Sideshow the differences in quality and shape are obvious, so I guess the take home message is...

Don't display it next to a Sideshow Endoskull and you'll be fine. :lol

What's the retail price if you just walk into Best Buy and pick it up?

Haven’t received mine from Amazon yet. To me it does not look bad for the price considering I could not afford the Sideshow version. If nothing else, it looks like a good foundation for modification later.

I would get it and I already have the SS bust (and the HCG on pre-order). But not sure which European dealer is carrying it...

Looks nice. eyes are a bit large, well, it isn't accurate, but when is a DVD or BD holder accurate?

I have a nice Cylon head edition DVD set, but it's flat!!!

I repainted mine with a nice battle damaged look.then used food coloring for the teeth.
I think it turned out very good. I still don't care for the nose area but oh well for now.
Wish I could upload pictures but I can't host pics via my storm.

I was reading a review of this that said there was only 3 DVDs included in the set" The Blu-Ray, The Ultimate Edition and the Extreme Edition. Can anyone confirm this?

Also how are the discs packaged? My fear is that they're just plopped in the base drawer without any protection...

There are 6 discs. BluRay,PC to ipod (dig. copy), 2 discs for each DVD (Ultimate Edition and the Extreme Edition). They can be held in the back of the skull base or in the included 6 disc dvd case that holds all the discs. There is no spacers or anything between the discs so they do contact each other.
