Okay, man, you've been teasing us on at least two boards long enough.
What is it from? Spill the beans, man.. ;)

Excellent find. I'm just curious who made the discovery. Did you notice it or was it one of your mates? Just curious.

Compared your pics to my Master Replicas MT. They got close for not knowing exactly what it was but interesting the small details that are not quite "right". Still, a great replica.

Thanks for the info.

Ted.

any chance someone could post pics of the original, for those of us who are aware of the prop but dont know the exact details? I always love readin about stuff like this..... I remember reading through the Obi Wan lightsaber thread when it was discovered which parts the emmitter and the gear.grip came from.... priceless.

Outstanding find. :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Another feather in the cap of the RPF. :love

So... how did you suddenly nail this baby? Did one of your mates have to open one up for repairs or something?

Cheers guys

bit of a story about the find on this one, basically there's two of us (myself & John) who are putting together our own trackers from original parts and were both missing just this single piece for completion. I've been collecting or finding original parts for a few years and decided that our mission was to find this piece, we got a third person involved (Ady) as well (it was me and him that bought up most of the worlds last stock of Bess Brown last year lol).... anyway, after about a month of looking at pumps etc we decided to expand our searches, John went into work and showed our reference material to a guy in his engineering dept who had helped to gut our drills for the trackers, he then casually took John to the stores area and pointed to a box full of them that they use for stock, turns out that both John & Ady have been walking past the things for years totally oblivious to their importance to the prop community :D

There were a few shared beers when we all met up last friday to check the goods :lol :lol

Not bad for a few weeks of searching for this one really.

I don't know much about this prop, so please post some pics of where this piece goes.

Is it on the bottom of the tracker? There's a box looking thing with a pin sticking out of the bottom.

Is that the piece? Is it inside the housting?

thanks

For those who don't know the Motion Tracker intermately here's a good link.

Alex, which Matchbox transformer did they use on the MT? I found a few likely candidates on eBay, either Powertrack or Race n Chase, but did buy them in the end.

"Pump widget." :lol

Yeah, that's a good link for anyone interested in building an MT from found parts. Thanks for posting, Hound. :thumbsup

And again, dacrates, great find. :cheers

*sigh*

why is the brand name covered up?
[/b]

yeh sorry about that, its nothing sneaky to be honest but it is the guys company logo printed on there rather than a brand thats all, didn't want people calling the company or anything seeings as we have borrowed it.

we are however contacting the supplier direct to see about purchasing of a few

Hi all. Ok this is an old thread, but maybe some one can still help me out.

I have read through this thread, and I am just as confused as I was when I started reading. I see you have found a pressure gauge to detail a MT, But a pressure gauge from what. A few of the pictures seem to have broken links.
