Electric Vektor CP-1 replica (CHEAP!)

I'm not sure.. I know some parts have got to be plastic, but I'm not completely sure. I can let you know once they arrive!
EDIT: Plus save for the airgun version (which I found on a, I think, Polish site) I haven't found anything even out of stock that has been advertised as metal or looks metal. Save for having someone make one from scratch or the airgun route, I think this may be your best bet.

There was an airsoft version I think made in China, somebody was selling a pair of them in the junkyard a year ago, that looked really good and I think had metal parts. I'd love to get one of those. This one could probably look good with a repaint, but I've got to hold off for now, too many projects going at once.
So... Finally got my guns, and sad to say they got my order wrong... Gave me a 1911 instead of a FN 5-7 and they haven't been returning my calls/emails.
Anyways, on to the Vektor... They are far bigger than I expected, I'm not sure how big they were before they were discontinued but they're fairly large. Here's a picture of the Vektor with my Tokyo Marui Glock 26 Advance
See how big it is? Well, let me know what you guys think. Also, I'd still LOVE to find out how you removed the orange paint and how you made the black finish look more realistic. Thanks!

My Vektor build-up in process.
Metal barrel, dummy chamber, opened up the ejection port, and a bunch of weight in the grip.
I'm modifying the mag base area to look like a magazine and NOT a battery pack!
The Dobson collection as of now:
The cheaper model that I used is the same one Birdie first pointed me to.
It was perfect for the display piece I wanted it for.
The slide can even be racked!
The Astra and Vektor, muzzle on:
The orange barrel is made of orange plastic, as I remember.
My method for making the Vektor look more real won't work if you want it to still function as an airsoft.

Well, I did a little digging of my own. I found a hand full of over seas sites that have Vektor Airsofts, but all the ones I found wanted 150 EURs and up. I also found the one with all the extra stuff on amazon for the same price as hobbytron. Then I dug a litltle deeper, and found that they do have them all over, in the states, without the extra stuff, but most sites have it for more then the ones with all the extra stuff you don't need. Here's the trick, even though it's the same airsoft as others have in above post as a vektor, most sites list it as a "Sig style electric airsoft".

And then there is this site, that has them, for less, but they mixed up the tittles of the "James bond" (vektor) and the "Robocop" airsofts. I'm thinking, if you order from them, you may want to talk to them first and see witch gun you actually get with witch title.

Very late to this particular thread but it's still worth asking, does anyone have any sources for these Airsoft guns. I need one for Dredd related set dressing.
