It's rough around the edges because I really wanted to keep moving forward with it and make all my mistakes in one go. I'm not a costume maker usually. Honestly, constructive feedback would be fantastic. Do you think it needs a complete re-make? I sat for quite a while and just took in what I could about the costume and tried to make it as accurate as possible. I really wanted to make something that had a story, so was old and battered. I was proud of my material choices, but I died the collar and train as I used old material I had lying around sure it was the best idea. The hessian was fraying beyond what I wanted it to so I treated it with PVA and it became too stiff in parts. Perhaps next time use all-purpose spray glue?

Looks good, I like the choices as they match up fairly accurately with that screen cap. The only thing I might recommend instead of the spray glue or PVA is to run a seam around the edges where you want the fraying to stop. I just did this with some black burlap and it works well, even after washing the burlap to soften it. (Ran the seam around a 1/2 inch back from where the fraying had already started. I also didn't make the seam straight, it was kind of random so that the fraying was varied lengths). Just an idea, hope it helps.
