This prop is just plain sexy. It's like the Corvette of Sci-Fi weaponry and the Pulse Rifle would be a Hummer!
The main selling point for me is the pedegree on this just as much as the design and quality.

just phoned the Canada rep and he getting back to me on cost in Canada
FYI they don't ship have to pick at store, but hey they are in Vancouver so for me a short drive of 3 hours make a day of it

Being a student AND a prop replica collector sucks. My first reaction to releases like these is "Good god that is beautiful" and the second reaction, following immediately after, is "Ughhh that's right, I'm still poor and I can't afford it right now". I wish I could just be excited hahah damnit!!! That being said I'm still going to preorder the new Mass Effect weapon from Triforce tomorrow

Amen. Not a student anymore but still can't afford all of these beautiful offerings. I think sounds would have been the tipping point for me on this one.

I've always been disappointed in pretty much every sound I've ever heard coming out of a prop replica. There almost always too quiet and have a muffled sound to them
Lights in certain cases (like the Standard Issue) definitely add to the prop but not sound IMO of course. I think I'll most likely be facing that painful duality for a long time after college too benhs lol.
Interesting to hear what motivates different people. Sounds would have made me NOT want this as it would have made it seem more like a kids toy. I LOVE that SAT made these the same way as the originals; working trigger and lights.
I am a sucker for playability. I am just a big kid after all.

Don't forget we will all swoon over the J2 when it comes out.
