The goal is to have the EFX TIE Interceptor paint master pattern on display at WonderCon 2015 and then Celebration. Production details will follow that.
Yes the Gold Leader Y Wing paint master will be on display as well. From my understanding it will be the next EFX release. I'll post updates when I know more. I know the master has been molded and paint patterns have been sent tot he artist for build and painting.
Steve, thank you very much for sharing this info with us.
It is really good to know that eFx is still working on the y-wing, the tie-interceptor and the "small" Falcon. Hopefully eFX makes really good money and we will see a studio scale advanced tie too.
Has the eFX cockpit ball been remade to match the original filming miniatures ? (I mean a 5-1/4" cockpit ball and a 1-1/4" cross tube ?).
I remember you said that you measured the 1-1/4" tube on the original models but it was too late to make the change to the eFX TIE Fighter ?
Would be great to have a true studio scale model made by eFX after the too large X-Wing and the too small TIE Fighter.
Is it me or the EFX Tie canopy frame looks too small? theres just something wrong about the proportions, either the canopy is too small or main ball too big.
