eFX SCOUT TROOPER HELMET LEGEND EDITION!!

They are a very good idea. I can’t speak for everyone but in my collection, most of my hilts are just display. I don’t handle very much and they don’t get used for cosplay. I’d say you can spend at least $300 on a metal hilt. If you could save $200 per hilt, you could triple your collection at the same price.

Fully understand it's the fragile resin. My point is that it prevents them from being used as stunts. I don't think they look anywhere as nice as metal hilts on the shelf. I seen up close the Luke V2 and the weathering looks so stenciled and cheap. Cheap belt hangers is what seems like efx was aiming for.

Thats not what they are aiming for, they are aiming for cheaper display pieces but going after the stunt variation of the prop. I do agree to V2 did not come out as well because of the faux weathering but the other pieces came out very nice.

The only way I’d preorder an eFx product is if it were available through a place like Entertainment Earth. They do not charge till you ship. Other than that, I’d steer clear.

I’ve just emailed EFX, not that I expect a reply.

“Still waiting? What happened to shipping in the first quarter of 2019? Not head a thing from you since this email of ********.
Sorry if I sound pissed off but so would you if all you’d had was excuses for 5 years!
Shameful you can even continue trading with a business model like yours.
Can you please give me a fixed dated of when I will receive my order? You’re a laughing stock of the prop world now.

I am in the same boat as you Mark :(

Although I got a friend from the US to order mine and I squared him up due to the horrendous shipping cost eFX charged when I bought the studio scale X Wing years ago.

The thing that pisses me off the most is this forum still allows people to discuss eFX new product ranges on here in the knowledge that board members have been ripped off and are still waiting for product years after paying.

Any other seller on this page would have been banned and their new products would not have been allowed to be pedaled on here.

eFX seem to have a free pass compared to the hundreds of other scammers who have been on this forum over the last couple of decades.

Happy 5th Anniversary to everyone who gave eFX pre-order cash for this helmet.

Next month is the 7th Anniversary of the announcement that they were going to make the Legend Edition so at least we have that to look forward to.

Sorry I missed the first anniversary of the last update on this helmet in June.
 
And to think, as far as I know, he is still allowed to be a member, a premium member at that. Meanwhile, he's fleeced thousands from decent and trusting members on this forum. Anyone else would have rightfully booted for fraud a long time ago.
